General Rules- This website is targeted at Aion fans age 13 and older. Please consider this before posting.
- Keep the personal information you post to a minimum. This will include things like your cell phone number, physical address, employer details etc.
- If you post content from another website make sure to post a link to the original article.
- Do not link to- or make any material available for download or distribution that contains any computer virus of any kind.
(The following is strictly not allowed)
- No Spamming of any kind.
- No flaming or direct personal attacks against another member of the forum.
- No hate material. This includes (but is not limited to)defamatory, abusive, racially or ethnically offensive imagery, content or language.
- No pornography or obscene or indecent material of any kind. Posting images of this type or linking to external sources containing this type of material will result in your account being permanently suspended without any further warnings.
- No politics or overt propaganda.
- No attacks on religions, ethnic groups or personalities.
Post etiquette- Do not post non-contributing one-liners.
- Do not hijack threads or make off-topic posts
- Do not post in ALL CAPS
- Do not needlessly create new threads. If an active existing thread already deals with your topic, rather add to it than create anew one
Advertising- The blatant advertising of goods or services, new or second hand will not allowed. This is not an e-commerce website. A simple google.co.za search will reveal the South African websites appropriate for the type of sale you intend to make.
- It's perfectly fine to reference an article on another site but do not publicly or blatantly advertise another website on this forum unless prior arrangement has been made with the Aion South Africa Staff.
Avatars and signatures- No avatars or images within signatures may contain nudity of any kind
- No avatars, images or text within signatures may contain hate speech or external links to racist images or web sites
- No avatars, images or text within signatures should contain religious, anti-religious or racist symbolism
- No avatars, images or text within signatures may contain sexual overtones or innuendo
Private Messaging- Do not abuse the private messaging system. This includes mass mailings and any other form of intrusive behavior.
Multiple Accounts- Users who create multiple accounts to bypass bans or for other unproductive methods may find themselves subject to a temporary or permanent IP ban.
- Accounts created to bypass another account's ban will also be banned.
Privacy and Security- Never give out your Aion account password or user name.
- Never give out any credit card or other financial information.
Note: Staff members of Aion South Africa will
never ask you to reveal the information listed above.
Amendments to these rulesAion South Africa reserves the right to amend these rules at any time, as deemed necessary, without any prior notice.
